Time flies and some days it seems your children are growing up in the blink of an eye. With a fun and relaxed approach to family portrait photography, I capture the images that will make you smile and lighten your heart for years to come. Going out on location or shooting at the studio, I work so that the camera isn’t the focal point of attention.

 

The results are unselfconscious images brimming with natural energy. I love to capture those lovely, natural moments when you and your kids forget there’s a camera on you.

 

As a mum, I know how quickly the days, weeks and months pass by and how special it is to stop, pause and capture this moment in time. It’s also so important for us parents to actually be in some photos too.

As a photographer, I love to capture both the physical and the emotional family connections. I love to photograph the feet, the eye lashes, the hands and all the little details. 

My approach to family photography is always relaxed and child led.

 

Don’t worry if we need to stop for snacks, drinks, nappy changes, or the odd tantrum, its only natural. Whether it’s all wrapped up on a winter’s walk, a summer’s afternoon in the park or a stroll through the autumn leaves, getting out and about can be great fun. And if the weather’s a bit grim, a session documenting your family at the studio is equally precious.
